Jimin and Jungkook reunite for Season 2 of 'Are You Sure?!'

Just weeks after their joint military discharge, BTS members Jimin and Jungkook are making headlines again with the announcement of the second season of their reality travel show, Are You Sure?!, on Monday.

The first season, which aired in August 2024, chronicled the duo’s unscripted escapades across the metropolis of New York State, the sparkling seas of Jeju Island, and the alpine Sapporo. The charm of quiet simplicity, honest late-night conversations, endearing accidents, an abundance of spontaneous laughter, and the obvious affection between two of K-pop’s most beloved performers easily won many over, quickly becoming a fan favourite.

According to multiple reports, the two began filming for the new season shortly after their discharge on June 11th. This season, the show follows the pair through Vietnam and Switzerland, in a fascinating blend of Southeast Asian and European cultures. With two beautiful countries on the roster, from bustling street markets to tranquil mountain lakes, the show promises cinematic visuals and emotionally resonant moments this season.

One of the most loved moments from the premiere season was the surprise guest appearance of their band member, V, in a particularly heart-warming episode. There is hope for a similar advent this time, with fans spotting the BTS rapper, RM, in Switzerland, whilst the other two were spotted filming for the season there.

Although Disney+ has yet to announce an official release date for the show, sources have confirmed that post-production editing is underway. The news has only heightened anticipation for BTS’s return as a complete group, tentatively planned for early 2026, a relief for fans who had feared the band’s hiatus might mirror that of One Direction, whose reunion now seems impossible.

Meanwhile, BTS is set to release their first live album, ‘Permission to Dance on Stage - Live’, along with a digital version, ‘Permission to Dance on Stage - Seoul’, featuring 22 songs from their world tour, which began in 2021 and included shows in the cities of Seoul, Los Angeles, and Las Vegas.
