Alex Ovechkin nominated for 2025 Muhammad Ali Sports Humanitarian Award

Alex Ovechkin is a finalist for the Muhammad Ali Sports Humanitarian Award. He is recognized for his cancer campaign and youth initiatives. Ovechkin launched 'Gr8 Chase for Victory Over Cancer' to support research. He donates for each goal he scores. Since 2006, 'Ovi's 8's' program brings underprivileged children to Capitals games. Ovechkin supports adaptive hockey and inclusion.
