The Special Task Force (STF) of Haryana Police has achieved success in its operations against organised crime between January 1 and June 29. It arrested 58 criminals with rewards on their head, 101 gangsters/gang members, and 178 heinous offenders.

Compared to the same period in 2024, 100 criminals, 29 gangsters/gang members, and 227 heinous offenders were arrested, indicating that the STF struck much deeper at gang networks, resulting in reduced gang activity, according to the police.

He praised the STF for its commendable and inspiring work against gangsters, narcotics networks, and interstate crime syndicates, even beyond state boundaries.

“Leveraging modern technology, analytical capabilities, and dedicated human resources, the STF has not only dismantled criminal strongholds but also positioned itself. The STF Haryana is becoming more capable, vigilant, and advanced. In the coming times, it will emerge as a model unit for crime control across the country. Through its strategic vision, technological proficiency, and courageous operations, the STF has proven how a strong, dedicated, and modern police force can play a decisive role in the fight against organised crime,” he said.
