Police Commissioner reviews law and order in Bahadurgarh
Rajshree Singh, Commissioner of Police, Jhajjar, convened a meeting with the DCP, ACPs, Station House Officers (SHOs), and police post in-charges in Bahadurgarh town here on Tuesday to review law and order.
During the meeting, she directed all officers and staff to exercise extra vigilance, noting that Bahadurgarh, being an industrial area bordering Delhi, attracted workers from different states. She emphasised the need for verifying the identities of newcomers and urged company owners and landlords to conduct police verification before hiring employees or renting out property. This, she said, was essential, as criminals often hid in such areas or used these as escape routes.
Given the NCR connection and industrial profile of the area, the Commissioner stated that the police responsibilities were more here. She instructed all officers to perform their duties with full dedication and conduct thorough checks of suspicious persons and vehicles through checkpoints.
Rajshree also emphasised prompt handling of complainants at police stations and posts to ensure swift justice. She stressed on the role of the police in safeguarding the youth from drugs and crime through awareness campaigns.
The police officers were also asked to keep a close watch on the youth involved in or linked to criminal activity, including illegal drug and liquor trade.
Bahadurgarh DCP Mayank Mishra, ACPs Shamsher Singh, Pradeep Nain, Pranay Kumar, SHOs, and CIA in-charges were present at the meeting.
