According to the 2024 Bollywood Hungama report, the budget of this film of Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi is 100 million dollars i.e. 835 crores. According to this, it has become the biggest budget film in the history of Indian cinema.

Ramayana overtakes big films in terms of budget

In terms of budget, ‘Ramayana Part 1’ has surpassed the most expensive films till date. Earlier, Kalki was made in 2898 AD (600 crores), RRR and Adipurush (both ₹550 crores), but ‘Ramayana Part 1’ has defeated all of them. Let us tell you that VFX is being used extensively in the film, along with this, a mega star cast will be seen in it. In such a situation, these two reasons can be the real reason for the big budget of ‘Ramayana Part 1’.

Mega star cast of ‘Ramayana’

Director Nitesh Tiwari is making ‘Ramayana’ in two parts. The first part can be released on Diwali 2026. In this film, Ranbir Kapoor will be seen in the role of Lord Ram and Sai Pallavi will be seen in the role of Mother Sita. South star Yash is going to play the role of Ravana in the film. Sunny Deol will be seen in the role of Lord Hanuman and Rakul Preet Singh will be seen in the role of Shurpanakha.

Apart from this, Vivek Oberoi, Lara Dutta, Kajal Aggarwal, Ravi Dubey, Kunal Kapoor, Arun Govil, Sheeba Chaddha and Indira Krishnan are also part of the star cast of ‘Ramayana Part 1’.
