Tewari hears out Sector 22 residents

Member of Parliament from Chandigarh and former Union Minister Manish Tewari held a meeting with residents of Sector 22 here today. He listened to residents’ concerns and assured them of timely redressal of their issues. Tewari was accompanied by Chandigarh Congress president HS Lucky and other senior party leaders.

While addressing the gathering, Tewari emphasised that the holistic development of Chandigarh and resolving issues of its residents was the primary objective of the Congress. Tewari told residents that he had already issued directions to officials concerned during recent review meetings on various central schemes. He is actively contributing funds from his MPLAD quota for development of the city.

Tewari also highlighted recent developments regarding the mayoral election process, describing it as an attempt to undermine democracy. Speaking on the occasion, HS Lucky said maximum development in the country had taken place under the Congress regime. He also appreciated efforts of Tewari towards city’s development.
