CBSE 2025: Practical Exam For Class 10, 12 Compartment Students To Begin From July 10; Details Here

CBSE Practical Compartment Exam 2025: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced specific instructions for administering practical exams to Class 10 and 12 supplementary applicants. These practical tests will take place with the Compartment Examinations 2025, from July 10 to July 15.

This additional set of practical exams is only for students who are assigned to specific groups based on their main exam scores. CBSE has provided clear directions for qualification, venues, and the assessment procedure.

CBSE Compartment Practical Exams 2025: Who is eligible?

  1. Only Class 12 students who receive "Repeat in Practical" (RP) need to take the practical exams. Their theory grades from the main test will stay the same and will be added to their final grades.

  2. For Class 10 students, those who fall into the "Repeat in Theory and Practical Both" (RB) group must take both the theory and practical tests.

Note: Those who were marked absent in internal assessments during the main board exams would get pro-rata internal marks based on how well they did on the extra theory paper. These applicants will not have to take any new internal tests.

CBSE Compartment Practical Exams 2025: Exam Centre

The place where practical exams are held depends on the type of applicant. Regular students will go to their own schools, whereas private applicants will take their practical tests at the same centres where they took their theory tests. If any of these centres don't have the right equipment for practicals, CBSE's Regional Offices will find other places to hold them.

CBSE Practical Exam 2025: Important Guidelines

1. CBSE has directed that all marks given during practical exams be submitted to the Board's portal on the same day the exam is held. Once recorded, these marks are regarded as final and cannot be changed; no requests for corrections or adjustments will be accepted.

2. To guarantee an easy procedure, students have to go to their schools or designated centres by July 7 with a printed copy of their results and admit card.

3. The schools will advise students of the exact date and time of their practical tests, and all students are expected to adhere to this timetable strictly.
