Caught On Camera: Staffer Of Bengaluru's Famous Namma Filter Coffee Assaulted After Over Extra Coffee Cup To Customer
Bengaluru: A shocking incident surfaced from Karnataka's Bengaluru, where a staff member at a famous cafe was reportedly assaulted by customers on Wednesday. The incident, which took place at the Namma Filter Coffee in Seshadripuram, was captured on CCTV installed in the cafe. The dispute arose after the cafe employee refused to provide an extra coffee cup to the customer, reported NDTV.
A group of men reportedly demanded an additional cup after purchasing coffee. The altercation started after the staff member refused to do so, citing cafe policy. When he suggested that they should buy another cup of coffee, the accused started abusing him, reported NDTV.
Video Of The Incident:
The cafe staffer was then reportedly hit on the face, punched and kicked in the stomach. In the video, it could be seen that the victim was sitting at the counter on his chair when one of the accused came and slapped him and then punched in his face. When the cafe employee tried to retaliate, the other accused also came and started thrashing him.
One of the accused even dragged the victim away from the counter. Other employees of the cafe tried to intervene and save their colleague from the assault.
A complaint has been filed with the Seshadripuram Police Station. So far, there are no reports of any arrests in the matter. A detailed investigation has been launched.
