Hamirpur college shines as Anjali tops state in BCA exam

Anjali Thakur, a student of Gautam College, has brought laurels to the institution by securing the first position in the state in the Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) examination conducted by Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla. Adding to the college’s pride, another student, Kusum Lata, secured the seventh position in the state merit list.

Both students were felicitated by the college management and faculty at a function held at the college campus yesterday. The event celebrated their academic achievements and recognised their dedication and perseverance.

Speaking on the occasion, Jagdish Gautam, Managing Director of Gautam College, said, “The success of Anjali and Kusum has further strengthened the academic excellence of Gautam College. This remarkable achievement reflects not only the hard work and commitment of the students but also the dedicated guidance of our faculty and the supportive academic environment of the college.”
