Union Minister, others call on LG

SRINAGAR, July 3: Ram Nath Thakur, Union Minister of State for Agriculture & Farmers Welfare called on Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, today.
He was accompanied by GM Shaheen, President, J&K Janta Dal United (JDU).
CA. Charanjot Singh Nanda, President, The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) also called on Lieutenant Governor.
Lieutenant Governor also met Master Amaan Khan, a young National-level Wushu player.
The Lieutenant Governor congratulated the 12-year-old athlete hailing from Baramulla on winning the Bronze medal at the 25th Sub-Junior National Wushu Championship held recently in Tamil Nadu and extended best wishes for his upcoming tournaments.
Touseef Raina, former President, Municipal Council Baramulla also called on Lieutenant Governor.
Raina putforth important matters pertaining to the improvement of civic amenities in Baramulla town area, and other development issues.
Meanwhile, Mohmad Haneefa, Member of Parliament, along with a delegation of students from Ladakh called on Lieutenant Governor.
The delegation urged the restoration of reservation in admission earlier granted to the students of Ladakh under various courses at SKUAST Kashmir.
