Mumbai: Bandra Police Book Two Women For Allegedly Attempting to Kidnap Schoolboys
Mumbai: The Bandra police on Thursday registered a case against two women for attempting to kidnap two students from a reputed school. Police are scanning CCTV footage to determine the motive behind this attempt.
Although the suspects have not been identified, police believe this could be a case of personal rivalry. An official said that the incident occurred at a convent school on Chapel Road in Bandra, where the suspicious women submitted an application at the school counter on Wednesday.
In the letter, the woman sought permission to take two minor brothers, aged five and seven, from the school, claiming to be their grandmother and aunt. However, the school staff became suspicious and called the children’s relatives for verification. The children’s real parents refused to provide any information about the two women or identify them.
