Policybazaar has partnered with Whilter.AI to enhance its customer engagement and retention strategy using AI-driven hyper-personalisation. The collaboration was aimed at addressing policyholder churn by delivering more relevant and timely communications throughout the insurance lifecycle.
Seeking to improve interactions with customers approaching policy renewal, Policybazaar moved away from uniform communication methods. The company implemented Whilter.AI’s platform to develop personalised, contextual outreach at scale.
Whilter.AI’s proprietary technology enabled Policybazaar to deliver dynamic visual messages tailored to each customer’s policy stage. These communications were supported across seven regional languages, including English, Hindi, Marathi, Tamil, Malayalam, Gujarati, and Bengali. The system incorporated automated workflows to manage delivery at high volumes while maintaining efficiency and accuracy.
According to the company, over 30 million AI-generated visuals were deployed through the initiative. The campaign reportedly led to a 35–40% increase in click-through rates and an overall improvement in conversion performance.
The collaboration reflects a broader trend of using AI tools to refine customer experience and increase the effectiveness of digital outreach in the insurance sector.
