Who Is Tania? All About 32-Year-Old Punjabi Actress Whose Father Anil Jit Singh Kamboj Was Shot By 2 Unidentified Men At His Clinic

Punjabi actress Tania's father, Dr. Anil Jit Singh Kamboj, was shot in Punjab's Moga district by two unidentified men who came to his clinic in Kot Ise Khan on Friday afternoon, pretending to be patients. He was rushed to a private hospital in Moga. Reportedly, the attackers got themselves examined by the doctor before firing at least two shots at him.

According to the Hindustan Times, Moga Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Ajay Gandhi stated that Dr. Kamboj sustained gunshot wounds to his chest and arm. "He remains hospitalised and doctors attending to him termed his condition as stable. We are working to ascertain the cause behind the crime," said the SSP.

Who Is Tania?

Tania is a well-known actress in the Punjabi film industry. Born on May 6, 1993, in Jamshedpur, she was raised in Amritsar. She also has a younger sister named Tamanna.

Tania pursued her education at Guru Nanak Dev University and BBK DAV College for Women in Amritsar. In addition to her academic background, she holds a degree in interior design and project management.

Tania was selected to play the role of Sarabjit's daughter in the 2016 Hindi film Sarbjit. However, she had to let go of the opportunity due to a scheduling conflict with her final exams. The role would have marked her Bollywood debut.

The film starred Randeep Hooda, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Richa Chadda, Darshan Kumar, Shiwani Saini, and Ankita Shrivastav, among others.

She later made her debut with the Punjabi film Qismat in 2018, which earned her widespread popularity. The film starred Ammy Virk and Sargun Mehta in the lead roles.

She has starred in several Punjabi films, including Qismat 2, Guddiyan Patole, Rabb Da Radio 2, Sufna, Bajre Da Sitta, Oye Makhna, and Godday Godday Chaa, among others.
