Thai Lion Air Boeing 737 flight to Bangkok cancelled at Kolkata airport after 'technical snag'; 130 passengers stranded

A Thai Lion Air Boeing 737-800, carrying 151 passengers from Bangkok, experienced an air-conditioning malfunction at Kolkata airport early Saturday. The flight, scheduled to return to Thailand with 130 passengers, was grounded after the pilot reported the technical issue. Passengers were accommodated in a hotel while engineers were flown in from Thailand to repair the decade-old aircraft.
