India’s White-Ball Tour Of Bangladesh Postponed To September 2026; BCCI Releases Statement

India’s white-ball cricket tour of Bangladesh, which was originally scheduled for August 2025, has now been postponed to September 2026. The tour includes three One-Day Internationals (ODIs) and three T20 Internationals (T20Is).

The decision was made after discussions between the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) and the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). Both boards agreed to shift the series due to busy international schedules and other commitments.

The BCB said it looks forward to welcoming the Indian team next year. The new dates and match details will be announced later.

This rescheduling ensures that the series will still take place, giving both teams enough time to prepare and manage their packed cricket calendars.

IND Vs ENG, 2nd Test: Shubman Gill Takes A Nasty Blow To Head While Fielding At Slips; Video

During Day 3 of the second Test match between India and England at Edgbaston, Birmingham, Indian captain Shubman Gill had a scary moment while fielding.

The incident happened on the second ball of the 37th over of England's innings. Ravindra Jadeja was bowling, and England batter Harry Brook edged the ball. Gill, who was fielding at first slip, tried to take the catch, but the ball struck him on the head instead.

The ball hit him hard and then deflected away, allowing England to score two runs. Medical staff quickly checked on Gill, but thankfully he was okay. After a short break, Gill continued to stay on the field and kept leading his team.

This moment reminded everyone how dangerous close-in fielding can be. Luckily, Gill did not suffer any serious injury and showed great courage by continuing to play.
