Comparing With Life In A Metro’s Journey

Back in 2007, Anurag Basu’s Life… In A Metro opened at just ₹80 lakh but went on to become a sleeper hit, eventually earning over ₹24 crore domestically. The sequel seems to be following a similar trajectory with stronger initial numbers, boosted by a loyal fan base and urban appeal.

About Metro In Dino: A Contemporary Take on Urban Love

Metro In Dino is a musical romantic drama composed by Pritam and serves as the spiritual successor to the 2007 cult hit. Interestingly, Konkona Sen Sharma is the only lead from the original cast reprising her role. Staying true to its predecessor’s concept, the film explores the complexities of love, heartbreak, and human connection through the intertwined lives of four couples living in different cities.

Directed and written by Anurag Basu, the film is produced by T-Series Films and Anurag Basu Productions. The star-studded cast also includes Fatima Sana Shaikh, alongside other top performers, with critics praising both the storytelling and performances.
