Locals Cut Open Giant Python's Stomach To Find Missing Indonesian Farmer's Body Inside It; Video Will Freak You Out
A body of 63-year-old farmer, La Noti, from Indonesia's Majapahit Village, Batauga, Southeast Sulawesi was found inside the belly of an eight-meter-long python. Head of the emergency and logistics division of the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) of South Buton, Laode Risawal said that LN’s body was discovered by residents at 2:30 p.m. Central Indonesia Time (WITA) in Majapahit Village.
The victim was reported missing since Friday morning when he failed to return home from his farm. His concerned family members and nearby residents started searching for La Noti in garden. One of the residents then encountered a giant python in the garden.

The python appeared to have swollen something human-like and was struggling to move. Thereafter, the residents killed the snake and cut its belly open.
A live footage of the incident was posted by Mike Holston also known as @therealtarzann on Instagram. The video is now going viral on the Internet and sparking mixed reactions of the netizens.

What Local Officials Said?
Sertu Dirman, Village Supervisory Non-Commissioned Officer (Babinsa) for Majapahit Village, Batauga Subdistrict informed that victim's family members reported missing complaint. Dirman said, "The family subsequently went to check the plantation and found the victim’s motorbike still parked on the side of the road."
Upon searching the platation area, residents discovered the python, lying a few hundred meters from the victim’s hut. “At that point, residents grew suspicious because the snake appeared to have swallowed a person. They then killed the snake, and it turned out the victim was inside its stomach,” Dirman said.
