‘My Only Dream Is Bhagwa-E-Hind’: Dhirendra Shastri In Patna Says ‘Not Here For Politics’ Before Bihar Polls

Addressing a massive gathering at Gandhi Maidan in Patna for the ‘Sanatan Mahakumbh’, Bageshwar Dham leader Dhirendra Krishna Shastri called for 'Bhagwa-e-Hind', raising yet another pitch for Hindutva and 'Hindu rashtra', for India to become a Hindu country opposed to the secular status currently.

According to news agency ANI, he declared, “My only dream is Bhagwa-e-Hind. If my religion is attacked, I will retaliate, as I am Hindu and I talk only about Hindutva. I have no problem with any religion, be it Muslims or Christians, but we have issues with those Hindus who divide us on caste.” Shastri asserted that he would soon undertake a ‘pad yatra’ across Bihar after the legislative elections to dispel any perception of political motives, stating, “I belong to every party that has Hindus.”

Rejecting allegations of political ambitions, Shastri clarified, “I am not in Bihar to do politics. I am here for ‘Ramneeti’ and not Rajneeti. I want people to rise above caste and be nationalists. Sanatan is not in danger, but it is a soft target for commentators.”

“Bihar Will Be First State if India Becomes Hindu Nation”: Dhirendra Shastri

According to local inputs, the Sanatan Mahakumbh saw the participation of thousands of devotees, with former Union Minister and BJP leader Ashwini Choubey leading the event. Bihar Governor Arif Mohammad Khan and Acharya Dhirendra Shastri were also present. Speaking to the gathering, Shastri proclaimed, “If India becomes a Hindu nation, the first state will be Bihar.”

Hitting out at cast divisions, he told the people of Bihar, “Bihar’s fools, remember one thing, we are all Hindus, and that’s why we are here at this Sanatan festival.”

Shastri denounced caste and regional divisions, remarking, “There are fights over language, caste, and regionalism. My only prayer is: don’t let Hindus be divided. We must rise above caste and live for nationalism.”

During his speech, he warned of forces trying to establish “Gazwa-e-Hind,” asserting, “Some people want a crescent on the tricolour, but we want the tricolour on the moon.”

Shastri announced plans to hold future discourses at Gandhi Maidan and a padyatra in Bihar after the elections. The Mahakumbh was held under tight security, with thousands from across India attending and participating in bhajan evenings, chants, saint gatherings, and havan rituals.
