Possibility of thundershowers

The Meteorological Department has predicted the minimum temperature in Delhi on Monday to be 27 degrees Celsius and the maximum temperature to be 33 degrees Celsius. The IMD had already issued an orange alert for some areas of Delhi-NCR. Moderate to heavy rain is expected in Delhi and many surrounding areas in the future as well. According to the Meteorological Department, the sky will generally remain cloudy. There may be thundershowers in Delhi in the next 2 days as well.

Indigo Airlines issued travel advisory

Air traffic was also affected due to the rain on Monday. In view of the bad weather, the airline company Indigo stopped some of its flights. IndiGo issued a travel advisory and wrote on the social media platform ‘X’ that “It is raining continuously in Delhi and the operation of flights is being affected due to continuous rain. Some flights have been stopped for the time being. Please be assured, our teams are working closely with air traffic control and we will move you forward as soon as the conditions are favorable. IndiGo has advised passengers to get flight updates on the app before leaving for the airport. IndiGo said, “Please check your flight status on our website or app before going to the airport. Also, allow some extra time for travel, as traffic may be slow.”
