India's First 'Authored-In-India' Smartphones, AI+ Pulse & Nova 5G, Now Official: Check Out Prices

Madhav Sheth, best known for his stint as Realme CEO, is back with a new mission: to put Indian tech at the forefront of the smartphone market. His latest venture, NxtQuantum, has launched the Ai+ Smartphone in India with an entry price of Rs 4,499. The device is being hailed as the "first entirely India-authored smartphone," and it’s not just the hardware — it's also running on an indigenous operating system, NxtQuantum OS, which the company touts as India’s first sovereign mobile OS.

Speaking at the launch event, Sheth explained the driving force behind the project: “Ai+ Smartphone is about putting control back in the hands of Indian users.” His remarks underscore a broader push toward digital autonomy and data sovereignty, themes echoed by other dignitaries present, including Shashikumar Sreedharan, Managing Director of Google Cloud India.

Pulse and Nova: Feature-Packed and Affordable

The Ai+ Smartphone comes in two models — Pulse and Nova 5G — both equipped with 6.7-inch HD+ displays and a focus on performance and flexibility. While the Pulse is powered by the T615 chip, the Nova 5G runs on the T8200 processor. Both phones offer expandable storage of up to 1TB, a 50MP dual AI camera setup, a robust 5,000mAh battery, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. Noth variants are offered in five colour options: Blue, Black, Green, Purple, Pink.

Designed with Indian consumers in mind, the phones support regional languages and feature a customisable interface through the company’s own Theme Designer Tool. This localisation push aligns with Sheth’s broader goal to create smartphones that aren’t just manufactured in India, but tailored for its users.

Flash Sale Dates and Launch Offers

Available now on Flipkart, the Ai+ Pulse starts at Rs 4,499, while the Nova 5G comes in at Rs 7,499. The company has lined up flash sales on July 12 and July 13 with attractive launch-day offers, including instant discounts for Axis Bank credit card holders and competitive exchange deals.

“For years, we’ve relied on phones and platforms that were never made with India in mind. AI+ smartphone changes that. These phones are fast, beautifully designed, and most importantly, they keep your data safe,” said Sheth during the unveiling.

With its roots firmly planted in Indian soil and a vision aimed at self-reliance, the Ai+ Smartphone might just be the first real challenger in the race to build a truly local smartphone ecosystem.
