Heavy Rain Alert: Monsoon rains can cause tremendous devastation in the next few days. A cyclonic circulation is formed at lower tropospheric levels over South Gujarat and its surrounding areas. The monsoon trough is active and is moving close to normal conditions at sea level.
Heavy rains may occur at different places in Madhya Pradesh during 8 to 14 July. Very heavy rains may occur in Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh on 8 to 10 July, in West Bengal and Jharkhand on 8 and 9 July and in Odisha on 8, 9, 13 and 14 July as well as in Madhya Pradesh till 11 July. In the next 7 days, thunderstorms may occur at most places along with storms at a speed of 30 to 40 kilometers per hour.
Heavy rains may occur at different places in Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand till July 14, Jammu Kashmir (Kashmir News), Ladakh till July 10, in western Uttar Pradesh till July 11, in Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh and eastern Uttar Pradesh on July 9 and 10, in western Rajasthan during July 12-14, in eastern Rajasthan during July 10-14. The weather may deteriorate at all these places for the next 7 days.
Heavy rains may occur at isolated places over Ghat areas of Madhya Maharashtra along with Konkan and Goa till July 10, over Saurashtra and Kutch on July 12 and 13, over Gujarat region till July 14, so you have to be very careful (IMD Rain Alert).
Heavy rains are expected at isolated places over Assam and Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura till July 14. Rains are also expected in Arunachal Pradesh during July 11-14.
