Employees of the Yamunanagar-Jagadhri MC are going door to door to get people’s properties verified.

Besides, the work of property verification is being carried out at the Citizen Facilitation Centres (CFC), set up in all three offices of the MC in Yamunanagar and Jagadhri.

Sharing information, MC Mayor Suman Bahamani appealed to the citizens to get their property ID verified themselves.

She said the employees of the civic body were going door to door and people should help them in verification work of property IDs.

“People should come to the offices of the MC for the verification of their property IDs. After verification, their property will remain safe. At the same time, no one will be able to tamper with their IDs. It would save them from property-related frauds,” said Mayor Bahamani.

She said the property verification work would continue till every property was verified in the area falling under MC. Commissioner Akhil Pilani called upon the owners of the vacant plots to give complete details of their vacant plots to the office of the Yamunanagar-Jagadhri MC.

“People should get the property IDs of their vacant plots verified. If the vacant plot owners do not do this, they will be issued notices by the MC. Therefore, the owners of the vacant plots should also get their properties verified themselves,” said Akhil Pilani.

He said if the property owners were not able to verify the IDs themselves, they could visit the counters of CFCs.
