IAF’s Jaguar fighter jet crashes in Rajasthan’s Churu

A twin-seater trainer version of the Jaguar fighter aircraft of the Indian Air Force crashed on Wednesday in Rajasthan’s Churu.

The aircraft had taken off from Suratgarh air base with two pilots onboard. It crashed in an agriculture field in Bhanoda village around 1.25 pm, SHO Rajaldesar Kamlessh added.

He said human body parts were found near the crash site.

Following the incident, the Indian Air Force choppers have been sent to the crash site, said sources.

A similar incident took place in April, where a two-seater Jaguar aircraft of the IAF crashed during a night mission shortly after taking off from Jamnagar Airfield. — with Agencies
