Union Home Minister Amit Shah has revealed what he plans to do after retiring from politics. Speaking at the ‘Sahkar Samvaad’ event in Ahmedabad, he said that once he steps away from public life, he wants to focus on natural farming and spend more time reading Hindu texts like the Vedas and Upanishads.

He called natural farming (also known as organic farming) a scientific method that is very helpful for both health and the environment. Shah explained that food grown using chemical fertilizers, like wheat, can lead to serious health problems such as blood pressure issues, diabetes, thyroid disorders, and even cancer.

He added, “Natural farming helps keep the body healthy and reduces the need for medicines.”

Shah also shared his personal experience, saying that since switching to natural methods on his own farmland, his crop yield has increased by 1.5 times.

He said he is passionate about this method of farming and looks forward to fully dedicating his time to it, along with studying spiritual texts, once he retires from politics.
