Schbang appoints Aditya Nagavekar as Head of Strategy

Schbang has named Aditya Nagavekar as its new Head of Strategy. Based in Mumbai, Nagavekar brings over one and half decades of experience in strategic planning and brand communication.
Before joining Schbang, he spent over six years at Ogilvy in Mumbai, where he held multiple roles, most recently as Vice President – Strategic Planning. During his tenure, he worked on campaigns across FMCG, textiles, retail, and auto categories, with clients like CEAT, Home Centre, and ITC’s Savlon brand. He was part of the team behind the Grand Prix-winning Savlon campaign at Cannes Lions 2018 and a Gold-winning entry at the APAC Effies.
Earlier, he managed regional strategy for Ogilvy Africa, working out of Nairobi across pan-African markets on brands including Airtel, Coca-Cola, and DStv. His experience also includes strategic marketing roles at McDonald’s India, TBWA\India, and early stints at JWT and Mudra Communications.
Over the years, his work has focused on brand architecture, audience insight, and integrated campaign planning, with experience across both B2C and B2B segments, including financial services, insurance, automotive, and real estate.
At Schbang, he will oversee strategic planning functions and contribute to the agency’s approach to campaign development and client engagement.
