India beats China, US, Pakistan, 81% Indian employees find… Study makes MASSIVE claim, says…

Artificial Intelligence(AI) is the new modern tool that is transforming our lives. A report on artificial intelligence has shown that India has utilized AI well to improve work. The report titled “Work and Wellbeing in the Age of AI” was prepared by Jabra in association with the Happiness Research Institute. The study results highlight that in India, not only is AI making the work of people easier, but it’s also improving their happiness and satisfaction.

What does the study reveal about Indian employees’ satisfaction?

As per the study, this report draws on responses from over 3,700 knowledge workers across 11 countries. “We explore how AI is being used, who is using it, and how that intersects with job satisfaction, purpose, stress and happiness. These are contributing factors to what we define as workplace wellbeing for the purpose of this report,” reads the study.

The report says that India stands out among 11 countries in which professional or worker users adopt AI technology rapidly. About 36% of folks in India use AI every day for professional and personal use. Furthermore, 81% of Indian workers and employees who do use AI believe it makes their work more fun and interesting. Furthermore, of daily AI users, 92% think it makes their work more fun and interesting.

Across countries, company size, and industries, the study found notable differences in how prepared workers believe their organizations are: India leads globally, with the highest worker-reported readiness, strongest leadership communication, and greatest responsiveness to employee wellbeing, reads the report.

The report notes that in India, the most pronounced use of AI is evident among those who are notably short on time (i.e., parents). In fact, the vast majority of regular AI users in India (78%) are parents. For parents with time constraints, AI is simply another means to help them juggle domestic and work responsibilities.

What does the report suggest about parents?

AI is not simply a time-saver — it has also become a new means of learning and developing. The majority of AI users in India 85% say they learn something new during their work, compared to just 77% of less frequent AI users.

The report also indicates that Indian corporates are leading the world in AI adoption. For example, approximately 69% of employees indicate that their companies have started working on training, tools, or created AI-related strategies. The report indicates that 63% of people think they need training and skills development in technology, 58% want to know the basics of AI, and 54% want the ethical guidelines of AI. Jabra’s report clearly shows that India is not just progressing technologically, but is doing that in a “human-first” way regarding AI adoption, where the intent of using the technology is not just speed, but to improve people’s happiness and satisfaction.
