Pune: Traffic Police Constable Dies Of Cardiac Arrest While On Duty

In a shocking incident, Pune traffic police constable Dhanaji Bharat Vanve (42), from the Bharati Vidyapeeth Division of Pune City Police, tragically passed away while on duty at Katraj Mandai Chowk on Wednesday, around 6:45pm.

According to an official, Vanve was on duty and managing the traffic flow when he suddenly collapsed at Katraj Mandai Chowk.

Locals immediately rushed him to Sai Sneh Hospital for medical help. However, doctors confirmed that he had already succumbed to a severe cardiac arrest before treatment could begin.

Vanve is survived by his parents, Bharat Vaman Vanve and Lochana Bharat Vanve, his wife Rupali Vanve, daughter Siddhi (15), and son Shivraj (4). His sudden demise has left the family and the police department in deep sorrow.

Pune Police Commissioner Amitesh Kumar and senior officials expressed their heartfelt condolences and acknowledged Vanve’s dedicated service to the force.
