Guru Purnima 2025: Sadhguru’s Satsang And Spiritual Offerings At Isha Yoga Center

10 July, 2205: For seekers on the spiritual path, Ashadha Purnima, also known as Guru Purnima, is one of the most important days in the year. A day of divine grace, it marks the beginning of the sacred Guru Shishya Parampara in Bharat, when Adiyogi first became the Adi Guru, transmitting the yogic sciences to his seven disciples, the Saptarishis. Since then, Guru Purnima has been an opportunity to offer our gratitude to our gurus and is celebrated with much joy and reverence across Bharat.

At Sadhguru’s ashram at Isha Yoga Center, Coimbatore, meditators and ashramites are gearing up to celebrate Guru Purnima on July 10 this year. Here’s a look at offerings and celebrations that are planned for this year.

Sadhguru Arpanam – Culmination on Guru Purnima

This year, for the first time, Sadhguru offered a seven-day online sadhana called Sadhguru Arpanam, culminating on the auspicious occasion of Guru Purnima. Participants will conclude the sadhana with a special Guru Purnima chant and a sacred offering to Dhyanalinga.

Purnima Offerings At Dhyanalinga

Devotees can offer Ksheera Arpanam (milk offering) and Jal Arpanam (water offering) at Dhyanalinga. Ksheera Arpanam is typically offered in the morning (6 AM to 1 PM), while Jal Arpanam is offered in the afternoon and evening (1 PM to 8 PM).

Ksheera Arpanam and Jal Arpanam are offered to Dhyanalinga on every Amavasya and Purnima, providing a powerful opportunity to connect with its energy and receive its grace. On Guru Purnima, this offering becomes even more special — a rare and sacred moment for devotees to deepen their connection with the Guru.

Guru Purnima Evening

The highlight of the day of Guru Purnima celebrations at Isha Yoga Center, Coimbatore, is the long-awaited special Satsang with Sadhguru. The Satsang, which begins from 7 pm, includes a powerful guided meditation by Sadhguru.

Taking devotees to another spiritual high, a stellar lineup of renowned artists will offer soulful musical performances alongside Isha’s homegrown band, Sounds of Isha. The event will feature celebrated names such as Mohit Chauhan, Ram Miryala, Parthiv Gohil, and Swagat Rathod. Adding a vibrant global flair, the lineup also includes Trinidadian Soca King Machel Montano, famed for his electrifying, high-octane stage presence.
