Chandrababu Naidu-Lokesh Nara Father-Son Duo Return To School. One As Teacher, The Other As Student: WATCH

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu stepped into a classroom and donned the role of a teacher as he participated in the state’s ambitious "Mega PTM 2.0" (Parent-Teacher Meeting) event today. The initiative, aimed at promoting stronger parent-school engagement, is being held across thousands of schools and junior colleges, with the government targeting a Guinness World Record by involving over 2.28 crore participants.

Father As Teacher, Son As Student

At the high school, the Chief Minister and Minister Lokesh engaged warmly with Class 10 students, initiating a lively and inspiring interaction. In a delightful role reversal, Chandrababu stepped into the role of a teacher, delivering a motivational lesson, while Lokesh sat among the students, attentively listening. They also interacted directly with parents and teachers, examining the students’ Holistic Progress Cards—which reflect not just academic performance, but also co-curricular interests, behavior, health, and attendance.

The atmosphere turned symbolic when Lokesh respectfully bowed at the feet of Chief Minister Chandrababu upon their arrival at the junior college. They were soon greeted by P. Madhavi and her four children—beneficiaries of the “Salute to Mother” scheme—who sought blessings from the CM. The delegation spent time observing wall displays celebrating motherhood and the scheme’s impact, pausing for photos before moving on to the ZP Boys High School, where NCC cadets offered a ceremonial guard of honor and local officials gave a warm welcome.
