HDFC Bank has issued a download alert. According to the official website, some services including Unified Payments Interface (UPI) will be affected on 10 and 12 July. Which will affect the transaction.

These services will remain closed on July 10

According to the official website, facilities like domestic ATM, HDFC debit/credit/NRI prepaid and Net Safe cards will be disrupted for a full 4 hours from 12:30 AM to 4:30 AM on July 10. There will be problems in loading or re-loading through HDFC Bank debit or credit card from 12:30 am to 2:00 pm on Thursday. There may also be problems in doing international online transactions. However, there will be no impact on international ATM/POS transactions. HDFC Bank Forex prepaid cards will also not work for some time.

UPI down on 12th July

UPI service will not be available for 4 hours from 2:30 am to 6:30 am on Sunday, 12th July. Due to which there will be problem in transactions. Due to Sunday, all the branches of the bank will also remain closed. There will be problem in transacting through HDFC Bank current or savings account and Rupay credit card linked to UPI. Apart from this, its effect will also be seen on HDFC mobile banking app. It will also have an impact on merchants ID.
