New Electricity Bill Rules: Electricity consumers will now get all the information related to electricity on WhatsApp while sitting at home

PVVNL has started a WhatsApp channel for the electricity consumers of Ghaziabad. Now information about power cuts and schemes will be easily available. 11 lakh consumers of Vidyut Nigam Zone-1, 2 and 3 will benefit as now they will get all the information on a single platform. The link of the WhatsApp channel is being shared so that all consumers can join.

New Electricity Bill Rules: Consumers of Ghaziabad will get all the information related to electricity through WhatsApp. For this, Pashchimanchal Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited (PVVNL) has started WhatsApp channel. Through a single internet platform, consumers will get information about power cuts and all schemes related to consumers.

There are about 11 lakh consumers in Vidyut Nigam Zone-1 (city), Zone-2 (Muradnagar, Modinagar and Loni) and Zone-3 (Trans Hindon). Till now, information about the reason for power cuts, maintenance work and schemes was not reaching the consumers.

PVVNL used to share information only through X, which was not able to reach all the consumers. A large number of consumers using smart phones do not use X. Vidyut Nigam believes that most of the consumers use WhatsApp.

Now the Electricity Corporation has created a WhatsApp channel to connect all the consumers on a single platform. Consumers have started joining. For this, all the officers and employees of the Electricity Corporation including the Superintending Engineer, Executive Engineer, SDO, JE are creating awareness and also sharing links.
