'Gurugram Is A Shame': Suhel Seth Slams Haryana Govt After Floods Bring Millennium City To Standstill (VIDEO)
Gurugram: Daily life in Gurugram has been severely disrupted due to heavy rainfall. From water-logging and traffic jams to roads caving in, commuters are experiencing widespread chaos.
Suhel Seth, founder and managing partner of the strategic brand marketing consultancy firm Counselage India, took to the micro-blogging website X to slam the Haryana government in a series of posts.
"Let’s be honest. Gurugram is a shame — a shame on how shoddy our infrastructure is, a shame on the jokers who govern the place and a shame on the priorities of the State Government," the marketing expert wrote.
He also advised his followers: "So the next time someone tells you Gurugram is a smart city, look that unsmart person in the eye!"
In another sarcastic post slamming the BJP, he said, "Delighted that the @BJP4India Government has not been inconsistent. Miserable governance has been their hallmark in Haryana and why should they let you down this year? The floods are back as is the garbage and @NayabSainiBJP is nowhere to be seen. Shame," the brand expert said.
Responding to reports of CM Nayab Singh Saini's announcement to develop the country’s first Disneyland-style theme park in Gurugram, he jibed, "I’ve been told @NayabSainiBJP wants to bring Disneyland to Gurugram. Just pray Mickey Mouse knows how to swim. Or else the rats will have no choice except to flee a sunken ship."
