The second season of the show will continue the story of Wednesday Adams (played by Jenna Ortega), as she returns to Nevermore Academy to study and faces new threats. Co-creator, showrunner, and executive producer, Miles Miller, talking about “Wednesday Season 2”, said, “We wanted to find some new obstacles for Wednesday. She thinks she has everything under her control, and she realises that human interaction is not as easy as she thought.”

The official synopsis for “Wednesday Season 2” reads, “Wednesday Addams returns to roam the gothic halls of Nevermoor Academy, where new enemies and troubles await her. This season, Wednesday must deal with family, friends, and old adversaries, thrusting her into another year of delightfully dark and strange chaos. Armed with her signature sharp wit and deadpan charm, Wednesday also dives into a new, hair-raising supernatural mystery.”
