Not Instagram reels, Radhika Yadav's father shot Gurugram tennis player after villagers said this!

More details have emerged as police probe further into the murder of tennis player Radhika Yadav in Gurugram. Though preliminary inquiry suggested the tennis player's father, Deepak Yadav, shot her over her Instagram posts, further probe reveals there were other issues Deepak was upset about.
According to Gurugram police, the 25-year-old state-level tennis player managed a tennis academy in the city, and it was always a bone of contention between the father and daughter. Deepak apparently wanted his daughter Radhika to shut down the academy, as his acquaintances often mocked him for living off his daughter's earnings.
Radhika was allegedly shot dead by her father at the family's double-storey home in the upscale Sushant Lok area in Gurugram on Thursday. Deepak shot Radhika from behind while she was cooking in the kitchen. Deepak has confessed to the crime.
According to police, Deepak Yadav confessed that he shot at Radhika because he was often taunted for living off her income.
Police, in an official statement, claimed that the tennis academy Radhika ran was the bone of contention between the father and the daughter. "Radhika used to run a tennis academy, and her father was not happy with it," Gurugram police spokesperson Sandeep Singh told PTI. Gurugram Assistant Commissioner of Police Yashwant Yadav said, "Deepak wanted her to shut down the academy, but she refused. He finally shot her dead over the same dispute,” Hindustan Times reported.
Investigators said Deepak claimed he had been feeling depressed for the past few days due to the taunts over his daughter’s career and earnings. Deepak reportedly confessed the criticism had 'hurt' his pride.
Gurugram police have registered a case based on a complaint by Radhika's uncle, who, along with his son, reached the scene first after hearing a loud noise from the house. Though they rushed Radhika to the hospital, she was declared dead. According to police, Radhika's mother, Manju Yadav, has refused to give her statement, claiming she was suffering from fever and had not seen anything.
Deepak fired at least five gunshots, three of which hit Radhika in the back, and killed her on the spot, police said. Police seized a .32 bore licensed revolver used for the murder from the house. Police are probing whether there are motives behind the murder.
