Madhya Pradesh July 11 Weather Updates: Very Heavy Rainfall Expected In Eastern Part; Alerts Issued For 32 Districts

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): The Meteorological Department has warned of very heavy rainfall in especially eastern part of the state. These include Jabalpur, Panna, Satna, Rewa, Mauganj, Sidhi, Singrauli, Maihar, Katni, Umaria, Shahdol, Anuppur, Dindori, Mandla, Balaghat, Seoni, Chhindwara, Pandhurna, Betul and Narmadapuram.

IMD has also issued yellow alert for Gwalior, Sheopur, Shivpuri, Datia, Niwari, Tikamgarh, Chhatarpur, Sagar, Damoh, Vidisha, Raisen, Narsinghpur. There is a yellow alert for light rain in the rest of the districts of the state also.

Rain records:

During the last 24 hours, Rewa received the highest rainfall of 3.7 inches. Heavy rain of about two and a half inches was also recorded in Gwalior. Khajuraho in Chhatarpur received 1.9 inches of rain, Jabalpur received 1.6 inches, Mandla received 1.4 inches, Tikamgarh received 1.2 inches of rain and Satna received 1 inch of rain. The rains continued in many districts including Datia, Umaria, Damoh, Balaghat, Ratlam, Sagar, Narmadapuram, Narsinghpur, Guna, Mauganj, Sehore.

Very Heavy rainfall is expected to occur on July 12 in Jabalpur, Damoh, Katni, Mandla, Narsinghpur, Narmadapuram. Yellow alert of heavy rain Bhopal, Gwalior, Ujjain, Agar-Malwa, Rajgarh, Shajapur, Dewas, Harda, Betul, Sehore, Raisen, Vidisha, Sagar, Guna, Ashoknagar, Shivpuri, Sheopur, Datia, Chhindwara, Pandhurna, Seoni, Balaghat, Dindauri, Umaria, Chhatarpur, Panna, Satna, Maihar, Rewa and Mauganj.

Very heavy rain is expected on 13 July in Indore, Ujjain, Ratlam, Dhar, Khargone, Khandwa, Harda, Dewas.

Meteorologists said that there is an effect of three turfs in the state. At the same time, activity of low pressure area has also come to the fore. Due to this, there is a period of rain.
