WATCH: MP CM Mohan Yadav Attends Bhasma Aarti In Ujjain On Day-2 Of Shravana; Transfers Ladli Behna Instalment, Announces Hike As Raksha Bandhan Gift

Ujjain (Madhya Pradesh): Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav attended the Bhasma Aarti at Mahakaleshwar temple on Saturday and later, while speaking to the media, shared several key announcements.

He transferred the 26th installment of the Ladli Behna Yojana to beneficiaries through a single click during a program held at village Nalwa in Ujjain district.

He also transferred the amount for social security pensions and Ujjwala gas cylinder refilling under various government welfare schemes.

He announced that the monthly amount given under the Ladli Behna Yojana will be increased in the coming months.

He also informed that starting Sunday, he will leave for a 7-day international tour to Dubai and Spain to attract investment opportunities for Madhya Pradesh.

He said, “Today, money is going to the accounts of our Ladli Behnas. In August, they will also receive ₹250 as a Raksha Bandhan gift. After Bhai Dooj, from November, we will start giving ₹1500 every month. Slowly, we will increase this amount to ₹3000.”

This time, ₹1503.14 crore was sent to the accounts of 1.27 crore women, ₹340 crore to 56.74 lakh social security pension beneficiaries, and ₹46.34 crore to over 30 lakh women for Ujjwala scheme gas refills.

Earlier in the day, the Chief Minister visited the Mahakaleshwar temple and attended the Bhasma Aarti during the holy month of Shravana. He said, “Today, Baba Mahakal has showered divine blessings through the Bhasma Aarti. With his grace, Madhya Pradesh is progressing. We are inviting investors on the path of prosperity.”
