Naveen Receives Grand Welcome on Return to Odisha after Successful Treatment in Mumbai

Bhubaneswar: Biju Janata Dal (BJD) President and Leader of the Opposition in the Odisha Legislative Assembly, Naveen Patnaik, received a warm and heartfelt welcome on return to his home state on Saturday following a successful medical procedure for cervical arthritis in Mumbai.

Naveen’s special flight arrived at the Biju Patnaik International Airport at around 2 PM, marking the conclusion of a 21-day period of medical care and recuperation. He has made a full recovery and is prepared to resume his responsibilities.

Over thousands of supporters, party workers and people from all walks of life gathered at the airport to greet their mass leader. Emotional scenes unfolded as the people expressed joy and relief at seeing their leader back to Odisha.

During his treatment, numerous prayer ceremonies were organised by party members and citizens at prominent temples, invoking divine blessings for his speedy recovery.

The enthusiastic reception extended to him upon his return showcases the BJD President’s enduring popularity and the deep emotional bond he shares with the people of Odisha.
