School Holiday: Schools will remain closed for these many days for school students, DM’s order issued
In view of the huge crowd of Kanwadis in Sawan, students getting stuck in traffic jams and the possibility of accidents, holidays have been declared on different dates in many districts of Uttar Pradesh. However, the staff will have to remain present in the school for government work.
School Holiday: There is good news for school students. In view of the Kanwar Yatra to be held in the month of Sawan, holiday has been declared every Saturday and Monday in all council, recognized, aided and schools run by all boards from class one to eight in Badaun, Uttar Pradesh.
As per the order issued by Badaun DM, all classes from 1 to 12 will remain closed for students on 12 and 14 July, 19 to 21 July, 26 to 28 July and 2 to 4 August. However, teachers and other staff will be present as per the rules. If any examination or other activity is already scheduled in any school, then it will be postponed and the next date will be fixed.
Schools closed every Monday in Bareilly-Varanasi of UP
Bareilly DM Avinash Singh has also issued an order saying that schools and colleges will remain closed in Bareilly metropolis on every Monday of Sawan. All educational institutions within 5 km radius of Delhi-Badaun road will remain closed. This decision has been taken in view of the heavy crowd of Kanwariyas, students getting stuck in traffic jams and the possibility of accidents. However, the staff will have to be present in the school for government work.
All schools located on Kanwar routes will remain closed every Monday during Sawan in Kashi city Varanasi. District School Inspector and Basic Education Officer Bholendra Pratap Singh said that on the instructions of the District Magistrate, schools will be opened on Sunday, while there will be a holiday on Monday.
Rampur District Officer Joginder Singh has declared a holiday for students in all schools from class 1 to 12 run under Basic Education Council, Secondary Education Department and all other boards falling within two kilometers from the National and State Highway on the first Monday of Sawan. All the staff will be present in the schools.
Schools will also remain closed in these districts of Uttarakhand
In view of the upcoming Shravan Kanwar Yatra 2025 in Haridwar district of Uttarakhand, it has been decided to keep all educational institutions closed for 10 days from July 14 to 23. District Magistrate Mayur Dixit has also issued an order in this regard.
This holiday will be applicable to all types of educational institutions falling under Haridwar district. During this time all government and private schools up to class 12th, all degree colleges and university technical and technical institutes and all Anganwadi centers will remain closed.
In view of the Kanwar Yatra in Yamkeshwar development block of Pauri district, the District Administration Pauri has declared a holiday in the schools and Anganwadi centers of the Yatra area from July 12 to 23. In this regard, DM Pauri Swati S. Bhadoria has also issued an order. This order will also be effective in all private schools falling under this periphery.
