Haryana Weather Update: The Meteorological Department has issued an alert regarding rain in 12 districts of the state today. The districts in which the Meteorological Department has predicted rain include Palwal, Nuh, Gurugram, Faridabad, Rewari, Mahendragarh, Jhajjar, Charkhi Dadri, Panchkula, Ambala and Yamunanagar.

Faridabad: Heavy rain in Faridabad on Saturday afternoon made the weather of the entire city pleasant. People troubled by the scorching sun and humidity enjoyed the rain showers. On Saturday, the maximum temperature of Faridabad was recorded at 32 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature at 26 degrees. At the same time, by around 10 am, the temperature had reached 30 degrees. For the last 2 days, the weather in Faridabad and surrounding areas is changing again and again. Sometimes it rains in the morning and the sun comes out in the afternoon. Rain warning in 12 districts

According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD) Chandigarh, rain is expected in most districts of Haryana on Sunday as well. Especially Mahendragarh, Rewari, Gurugram, Faridabad, Palwal, Mewat, Jhajjar, Rohtak, Sonipat, Panipat, Karnal and Yamunanagar are likely to receive heavy rainfall. This time, an average of 150.7 mm rainfall has been recorded in Haryana so far, which is 41% more than normal.

Due to this reason, rain will continue

This figure is much ahead of last year because by this time, normally 106.7 mm of rain used to occur. The highest rainfall has occurred in Yamunanagar district where 352.1 mm rainfall was recorded. According to weather experts, due to the monsoon turf line extending from Bhiwani to the Bay of Bengal, moist winds are entering Haryana. Due to this, rain activities are likely to continue in the coming days as well.

Rain alert for 3 days

From July 14 to 16, light to moderate rain has been warned in many districts including Faridabad. Faridabad is likely to receive 50-75% rainfall on July 14 and 15, while on July 16, there may be 25-50% rainfall. Due to continuous rain, a drop in temperature has also been recorded. The average temperature of the state was 2 degrees Celsius below normal. At the same time, the hottest district was Rohtak where the temperature was recorded at 35.6 degrees Celsius. The maximum drop was recorded in Sirsa where the temperature fell by 1.8 degrees to 33.5 degrees.
