IP University announces 3-Year LLB Program, application starts from THIS date | Check key details here

New Delhi: Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU), New Delhi has introduced a new three-year Bachelor of Laws (LLB) Program. The program is set to launch in the 2025–26 academic year, with the goal of offering students a high-quality legal education. Applications for the course will open on July 18, 2025. Three law institutes under the university will offer the course to students, with a total of 180 seats—60 seats allotted to each institute, namely:

  • Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies (VIPS), Pitampura
  • University School of Law & Legal Studies (USLLS), Dwarka Campus
  • Delhi Chandraprabhu Jain College (CPJ College), Narela, Delhi

What is the eligibility criteria?

  • A minimum of 50% marks must be achieved by the student in any discipline in order to be eligible to apply.
  • The admission of the student would be done based on the merit rank they achieve in the Common Entrance Test (CET)

The CET, an objective-based exam, will assess students’ proficiency in three areas: Language and Comprehension (25 questions), General Knowledge and Current Affairs (25 questions), and Basic Understanding of Law and Legal Reasoning (50 questions), making a total of 100 questions.
Seat Allocation –

85% of the seats would be allocated for Delhi based candidates, who have passed the examination from any school/college situated in Delhi.

The leftover 15% seats are left for the students based outside Delhi.

A fees of 2500 would have to be provided by the students to fill the application form.
