Bulandshahr Viral VIDEO: Woman Claims BJP Leader Rahul Balmiki’s Pants Were Forcibly Removed, Both Beaten For Resisting

Bulandshahr (Uttar Pradesh), July 13: Shocking details have come to the fore in the viral video of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Rahul Balmiki who is the district minister if the party's Scheduled Caste Morcha. He was reportedly caught with a married woman in a compromising position at cremation ground in Bulandshahr. The case has taken a dramatic turn as the woman seen in the video has lodged an FIR, alleging that the video was the result of a honey trap and accused six individuals of extortion, criminal intimidation and assault.

The woman said that they forced Rahul to remove his pants and also thrashed them for resisting. In her formal complaint, the Dalit woman who is married stated that around seven months ago, she was sitting in a car with BJP leader Rahul Balmiki near Kelawan village, when few people, including Chottal Sharma, Umesh Pradhan (the village head) and Lalit Sharma, along with three unidentified individuals surrounded them.

As per the FIR, they used abusive casteist language and threatened to kill her. They allegedly forced both the woman and the BJP leader to accompany them to the Kelawan cremation ground, where they tried to assault her and forcibly undressed the leade. They also filmed objectionable videos and then used the footage to extort money.

The woman claims that the accused have already extorted ₹1.5 lakh from them in three separate instances. Recently, when a further demand of ₹3 lakh by Lalit Sharma was not met, the video was made viral on social media.

The video quickly went viral on social media. It showed BJP leader Rahul Balmiki in a compromising position with the woman inside a car parked near a cremation ground. Balmiki is also seen pleading them to let them go and also trying to touch their feet.

As per the woman’s statement, Rahul Balmiki has been missing for the past six days and his whereabouts remain unknown.

Police Action

The police have confirmed that the FIR has been registered based on the woman's complaint. They have detained one of the accused and are currently interrogating him. Further investigations are underway to determine the full extent of the conspiracy and the circumstances under which the video was recorded.
