Vivo X Fold 5 has been launched in the Indian market, alongside the Vivo X200 FE at a dedicated event. The foldable phone has a 8.03-inch flexible inner display and is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. The big highlight is the three 50-megapixel camera sensors at the back offering telephoto and ultra-wide angle capabilities. The Vivo X200 FE was also launched alongside with more mid-premium range specifications and a non-foldable smartphone design.

The new Vivo X Fold 5 is priced in India at Rs. 1,49,999 for the lone 16GB RAM+512GB storage option. The phone will come in a single Titanium Grey colour option. It will go on sale via Flipkart, Vivo India website, and AmazonIndia. Prebookings will begin today and sale will begin on July 30.
Pre-booking offers on the Vivo X Fold 5 include Rs. 15,000 instant discount on HDFC Bank, SBI, and Axis Bank card holders, flat Rs. 15,000 exchange bonus, up to 24 months of no-cost EMI options, one-year extended warranty, and Vivo TWS 3e at Rs. 1,499 only.
Vivo X Fold 5 design and specifications
The Vivo X Fold 5 specifications include an 8.03-inch flexible inner display and a 6.53-inch outer display. It packs a 6,000mAh battery with 80W wired and 40W wireless charging support. Vivo claims that this is the largest battery on a foldable phone.
The Vivo X Fold 5 is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. The phone is listed to be IPX5 dust and IPX8-IPX9 water resistant. The new model will weigh 217 grams and be only 4.3mm thick when unfolded.
The big highlight of Vivo X Fold 5 is the triple camera setup with a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 telephoto sensor with f/2.55 aperture and 70mm focal length. There is also a 50-megapixel Sony IMX921 main sensor, and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide JN1 sensor with f/2.05 aperute and 120-degree field of view. Up front, there will be 20-megapixel sensors in the inner and outer display. Camera features include HyperZoom, Stage Mode, and more.
