Rain Alert: Heavy rain alert in UP for next 4 days; Know the weather condition

IMD Alert: In UP’s capital Lucknow, light showers and sporadic rain will continue till Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon. At the same time, a yellow alert has been declared for four days, i.e. from Tuesday to 18 July, in eastern UP, which has remained weak in rain figures so far. Good rain is expected from the 16th.

According to the Meteorological Department, the monsoon trough line i.e. the main stream has shifted from its original position. Due to this, light to moderate rainfall is occurring in Lucknow and surrounding areas. At the same time, there is an indication of sporadic rain or drizzle during the day. The monsoon depression is forecast to reach Lucknow on July 16. This will increase the intensity of rain. Also, the area will be larger.

30 mm rain in one hour in Kanpur

On the first Monday of Sawan in Kanpur, after the humid heat during the day, there was heavy rain in the evening. About 30 mm of rain in one hour brought relief. According to the Meteorological Department, there will be intermittent rain in many parts of eastern UP from Tuesday to Friday. It is being said that there may be moderate to heavy rainfall in the next 72 hours.
