On 6 July (Monday), Dheeraj Kumar’s family released an official statement on his deteriorating health. It was the production team that confirmed the news of the veteran star being admitted to the hospital. Dheeraj was being closely monitored by doctors and was given the necessary treatment for his diagnosis.

“The family requests prayers for his speedy recovery and urges everyone to respect their privacy during this difficult time,” issued an official statement. Dheeraj Kumar was last seen attending the opening of the ISKCON temple in Kharghar, Navi Mumbai. Before his health deteriorated further, Dheeraj took part in the opening of the ISKCON temple.
