Pabbi gets dual charge as Arhtiya Association president, state VP
In a significant development, Kulwant Rai Pabbi, a prominent commission agent (arhtiya) from Phagwara, has been reappointed as the president of Arhtiya Association, district Kapurthala. Additionally, he has been entrusted with the new responsibility of state vice-president of the Arhtiya Association Punjab.
The appointment letter was issued by state president Jaswinder Singh Rana, and general secretary of the association Rajinder Kumar. The letter cited Pabbi’s consistent dedication and notable service to the cause of commission agents and the association as the reason for his dual appointment.
Expressing his gratitude, Pabbi thanked association chairman and Punjab Cabinet Minister Laljit Singh Bhullar, along with state president Rana and general secretary Kumar. He reaffirmed his commitment to working whole-heartedly for the welfare of arhtiyas and strengthening the association.
“I have always stood at the forefront whenever the rights of arhtiyas were challenged,” said Pabbi. “With renewed responsibilities, I will continue to serve with the same devotion and determination.”
Pabbi’s reappointment has been welcomed by members of the trading and arhtiya community, who view it as a recognition of his efforts and leadership in addressing the concerns of commission agents across the state.
