Former Chief Minister Digvijaya Singh's Post On Kanwar Yatra With Namaj Angers BJP
Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Former chief minister Digvijaya Singh has shared two photographs on social media. One photograph shows some policemen beating up those who were offering Namaz on a road.
The other picture shows the arrangements being made by the administration for Kanwar Yatris. In the post, he wrote, "One country, two rules." The BJP tore into Singh’s post.
Sports Minister Vishvas Sarang has said Digvijaya Singh criticises only Sanatan Dharma. Singh always offends the Hindu religion and its festivals, Sarang said, adding that he is doing politics on this auspicious occasion, too.
PWD Minister Rakesh Singh also criticised Singh’s post. He said it was the BJP that spoke about 'one nation and one rule,' but the Congress spoke about different rules.
But the Congress leaders did not support Singh’s statement. Nevertheless, a supporter of Singh and former minister PC Sharma has come to his support. The way the vehicles are being attacked and broken during Kanwar Yatra is not good, he said.
