BHU UG Admission 2025: The Banaras Hindu University (BHU) has released its undergraduate program registration and counselling site for the academic year 2025-26. Interested and qualified applicants can submit applications on the official website of BHU at bhu.ucanapply.com till July 31, 2025.

Aspirants must fill out the registration form, prioritise their course choices, and submit it before the deadline. They can get seat information for any program, venue, or seat type from the UG Information Bulletin 2025 on BHU's official website.

"Those candidates who have appeared for CUET 2025 and are interested for admission in BHU are advised to register through official website https://bhu.ac.in or https://bhucuet.samarth.edu.in. Detailed information about the admission procedure, programs, preferences, etc. are mentioned in UG Information Bulletin 2025 and CAP (UG) 2025, available on the website," the official notice reads.

BHU UG Admission 2025: How to apply?

Aspirants may apply for BHU admission by doing these simple steps:

Step 1: Visit the official website of BHU at bhu.ac.in.

Step 2: On the homepage, click on the ‘Admission’ tab and then select Admission for Undergraduate Admissions 2025-26.

Step 3: After this, to register, enter the information such as the application number and DOB.

Step 4: Now, enter the OTP sent to the registered mobile number and then log in using the necessary credentials.

Step 5: Next, fill out the application form with personal and academic details, address, etc and then select the preferred course.

Step 6: Before submitting the details, review all the information carefully.

Step 7: Download the confirmation page and take a printout of the same for further reference.

BHU UG Admission 2025: Major and Minor subjects

The programs with divided combinations of major and minor disciplines, where the corresponding Major subject and Minor subject are given below:

1. Bachelor of Science (Hons.) in Chemistry with Physics (Major – Chemistry, Minor – Physics)

2. Bachelor of Arts (Hons.) in Education with History (Major – Education, Minor – History)

(Note: In the preceding example, the Major is an Honours subject)
