New Delhi: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will be closing the online application process for various vacancies today, July 17. These include the posts of Scientific Officer, Administrative Officer grade 1, Regional Director and other vacancies under advertisement number 08/2025. The recruitment notification can be found by candidates at upsc.gov.in and they can apply at UPSC at upsconline.gov.in

• Regional Director in National Centre for Organic and Natural Farming, Department of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare: 1 vacancy
• Scientific Officer in National Archives of India: 2 vacancies
• Administrative Officer Grade-I, Naval Headquarters: 8 vacancies
• Junior Scientific Officer, Naval Headquarters: 9 vacancies
• Manager Grade –I / Section Officer in Canteen Stores Department, Ministry of Defence: 19 vacancies
• Senior Design Officer Grade-I (Construction), Naval Headquarters: 4 vacancies
• Senior Design Officer Grade-I (Engineering), Naval Headquarters: 3 vacancies
• Assistant (Aeronautical) in Directorate General of Aeronautical Quality Assurance, Department of
Defence Production: 3 vacancies
• Senior Scientific Assistant (Chemical) in Directorate General of Aeronautical Quality Assurance: 2 vacancies

The appointment of the candidates would be done on a probationary basis, and as they complete the probation period successfully, they would be eligible for permanent appointment.

• Log in by entering your credentials.
• Fill the application form, and upload necessary documents.
• Save a copy of the form for future preferences.
What is the eligibility criteria for UPSC exams?
Candidates need to be Indian citizens, they need to have a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university, and must be between 21 and 32 years old as of August 1st of the exam year to be eligible for the UPSC Civil Services Exam. There are also relaxations for certain categories.
