Pakistan Army chief Asim Munir finds a new friend! Now, this country wants to deeper military ties with Islamabad

Pakistan and Libya have agreed to undertake defence industrial collaboration and exchange of technical expertise.
During a meeting between Pakistan Army Chief Field Marshal Asim Munir and Commander-in-Chief of the Libyan Armed Forces Lieutenant General Saddam Khalifa Haftar in Rawalpindi, both the leaders discussed matters of mutual interest.
According to ISPR, the media and public relations wing of the Pakistan armed forces, the two leaders also discussed evolving regional dynamics, security challenges, and matters pertaining to defence cooperation.
They agreed to undertake "defence industrial collaboration and exchange of technical expertise to address contemporary security challenges."

According to Islamabad Post, Pakistan and Libya agreed to strengthen military-to-military relations through structured dialogue and cooperation, including joint military drills, intelligence sharing, and training exchange programmes.
The visiting general hailed the professionalism and discipline of the Pakistan Army and expressed his country's desire to benefit from Islamabad's defence production capabilities.
Munir promised Pakistan's support for strengthening the armed forces of Libya.
The meeting between the military top brass of Pakistan and Libya comes a few days after Indonesian Defence Minister Lt Gen (retired) Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin's visit to Islamabad. During his visit, the Indonesian leader expressed his country's desire to strengthen defence ties with Pakistan and to explore possible areas for cooperation, especially in defence production.
