PM Modi Warns Of Action Against Infiltrators, Slams TMC From Bengal Rally
Durgapur: Amid controversy of alleged harassment of Bengalis at Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) ruled states, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday said that those who are not India’s citizens will continue facing legal actions in accordance with the Constitution.
“The Trinamool Congress (TMC), Left Front had run the government along with Congress led central government, but never anyone thought of giving ‘classical language’ status to Bengali. For the BJP, Bengali pride is of utmost importance. Bengalis are given respect to BJP ruled states. But West Bengal is in danger as TMC for their own benefit have given shelter to infiltrators and also helped them secure fake documents. For this, an entire ecosystem has now been developed. It is a threat to Bengali culture. Those who are not India’s citizens will continue facing legal action in accordance with the Constitution.,” said Modi.
Urging for ‘Ashol Parivartan’ (True Change), Modi mentioned that TMC is a ‘wall’ in the path of Bengal’s government.
“TMC is making a double attack on the education system in the state. People should give one chance to BJP which is honest and can develop the state. TMC’s ‘gunda tax’ and ‘mafias’ are stopping investment in the state. The government here frames the policies to support the corruption of its leaders. Injustice is happening with the daughters in West Bengal, under the rule of the TMC government. Hospitals are also not safe for the daughters in West Bengal,” further added the Prime Minister referring to RG Kar and South Kolkata Law college incidents.
In a bid to urge people to vote for BJP in Assembly elections next year, Modi assured that if a new government is formed then development in Bengal will get a new pace.
Countering the claims of the Prime Minister, TMC said that ahead of elections every time the PM and other leaders come to attend rallies filled with ‘lies’.
TMC minister Chandrima Bhattacharya said, “It seems that Modi himself has changed as instead of ‘Jai Shri Ram’ chants he said ‘Jai Ma Kali and Jai Ma Durga’.”
